We feature traditional country music and country blues from the Perry Freeman album, Rosin Up Your Bow.
The songs are similar to late 1940's and early 1950's country music, both in the style of the instruments, and particularly in the style of the songwriting.
We received a nice compliment about the songwriting from Inside Bluegrass, the monthly magazine of the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association. The reviewer wrote that "many of the songs (all written by Perry) could become standards with the right exposure." Of course, we were delighted to hear such a comparison.
